The charming town of Buxton is where our hotel, the 4-star Lee Wood Hotel, is located for the weekend. One of our favorite places to visit, Chatsworth at Christmas will really set the standard for getting us in the Christmas mood, they really do go-to-town on decorating the rooms at Christmas time. There will also be a choice of McArthurGlen East Midlands Designer Outlet, where you can start your Christmas shopping in style, or Matlock, for a more casual mooching experience before heading home.

Day 1
Begin the festive season with a real Christmas-themed weekend. Travelling on the Friday, we will arrive in the charming town of Buxton where our hotel is located for the weekend.
DDay 2
On the Saturday, you will have time to explore Buxton in the morning before we head to Chatsworth House.
Chatsworth at Christmas will really set the standard for getting us in the Christmas mood. They go-to-town on decorating the rooms at Christmas time. Christmas scenes will flow throughout the house with music from all ages, including festive favourites from the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire.
From a warm and inviting Christmas Eve scene in the State Bedchamber, complete with stockings hung by the fire, to a decadent festive table fit for kings and queens in the Great Dining Room, we invite you to step into the spirit of Christmas at Chatsworth.
Perhaps most exciting of all, the State Rooms and Sketch Galleries, usually closed for conservation during the Christmas period, will be part of the route for the first (and likely only) time ever, and will be beautifully dressed for the festive season.
And where better to start your Christmas shopping than at the Chatsworth Christmas Market? With over 100 market stalls offering a wide range of Christmas gifts and decorations, it's a great way to start the festive season. Enjoy a visit later in the day and experience the market at dusk with a magical feel.
On the Saturday, the hotel host a Christmas party evening, with a 3-course meal with disco and dancing!
Day 3
There will also be a choice of visits, McArthur Glen East Midlands Designer Outlet, where you can start your Christmas shopping in style, or Matlock, for a more casual mooching experience before heading home.

The Lee Wood Hotel is set in its own grounds with mature gardens and is just 200metres from the Buxton Opera House.

Timetable and door to door services
Our timetables are unique. Bookings are taken throughout the year, approx. 6-9 weeks prior to travel we release the balance reminders and your final itinerary, including your pickup times. This will come through to you in the post along with your luggage tags. This allows us to ensure our pick up routes are kept to a minimum and our routes run exactly to time. Commonly pick ups start between 7.45am and 9.00am we arrange for comfort stops and lunch stops along the route where necessary. For longer journeys we will arrange additional comfort breaks.
Door to Door service can be requested for our holidays where you are unable to board one of our pickup points, we use local taxi services and only charge you what they charge us.
Please note, occasionally we use a feeder coach along our pickup routes to accommodate booking requests and keep our main coach pickup route to a minimum.
