Occasionaly a trip comes along that is so different we just can't wait for it to take place!! For those that love antiques road show we know you are going to love this. Join us for a fun antiques hunting game in the company of a TV antiques expert! Each person will be given a crisp ten pound note, you will have time to find treasure before its back to the restaurant (based in Wallingford) for a 2 course lunch & coffee. Discover some home truths out about what you find and what it might fetch at auction. If no one finds a Ming Vase the winner will be selected based on auction value,quirkiness of the object or a great story to go with it.
The judge's decision is final! We'll be choosing a finalist by table before picking the ultimate Finders Keepers Winner who'll be taking home a super trophy and lots of kudos! Plus, everyone gets to takehome what they've bought! You will not want to miss this trip!
Day 1
Timings:
10.15/30am Arrive at The George Hotel Wallingford. The expert will meet you here.
10.30am Morning coffee & biscuits.
11.00am Game Briefing with the expert.
11.30am Shopping Time
1.00pm Lunch back at The George Hotel Wallingford - 2 course with coffee
2.15/30pm The expert will examine each find & pick finalists & winners
3.30pm The event finishes & the group depart The Hotel

Accessibility
For the antique hunting part of the trip there will naturally be a certain amount of standing and walking. Some of the antique shops have alot of steps & no lift, so if you have limited mobililty then this trip may not be suitable for you.
Timetable
Our timetables are unique. Bookings are taken throughout the year, approx. one month prior to travel we release the balance reminders and your final itinerary, including your pickup times. This allows us to ensure our pickup routes are kept to a minimum and our days run exactly to time.
Commonly pickups start between 7.45am and 09.00am. We like to arrive at our destinations for approx. 11am. And commonly our departures from venues are between 4-5pm. Allowing us to return to our first drop off between 6-7pm.
Aylesbury/Begrove/Aston Clinton is new to 2022 – if there is a trip you are interested in that does not have these new stops listed, please do register your interest, as we grow this pickup route, we will look to add additional dates/coaches to accommodate requests.
Please note, occasionally we use a feeder coach along our pickup routes to accommodate booking requests and keep our main coach pickup route to a minimum.
