Epping Ongar Railway is the award winning longest heritage railway in Essex and operates on the former end of the Underground Central Line, operating heritage trains between award winning old fashioned stations dating from 1865. Fish & Chip lunch included on the train.
Day Trip
11.00- Arrive
12.00- Start your visit and take your morning coffee/tea in the Anglia Coach take a look around the Station buildings which have all been restored into LNER/BRE (1940-1960s) period. The Ladies Waiting Room and Ticket Office have also been restored, the signal box is original built in 1865
13.00- As the Steam Locomotive departs for Ongar sit back and enjoy the countryside views on your way, passing through the now closed Blake Hall Station, London Underground’s least used station with only 6 passengers a day.
13.15- Arrive at Ongar Station with its souvenir shop and Buffet Stop Café where your Fish & Chip lunch is served on the train
13.35- Depart Ongar for its return trip arrives at North Weald 13.50 (Stay in the carriage, Ice cream is served)
14.15- Leave the Carriage
14.25- Take the Heritage Bus 339 to Epping Underground Stn return on same bus arrive back 14.52
14.55- The Diesel DMU starts its trip through a part of Epping Forest to the end of our running track, (there are no platform so you cannot alight) return to North Weald at 15.15
16.00- Depart

· Masons trips have been designed to be COVID safe, we have passed the visit Britain industry standards to show we are COVID safe and 'Good to Go'. Following a risk based assessment from Monday 21st of June we will be returning to full capacity seating. Please note seat numbers may change due to "bubbles"/couples/single travellers and mobility issues.
