Enjoy a fascinating trip to Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park in the heart of Suffolk.

Created by television presenter and conservationist Jimmy Doherty, the attraction is home to more than 100 species and breeds, from traditional farm animals

and rare British breeds to crocodiles, camels, brown bears and polar bears.

Beyond the park’s impressive polar and brown bears, visitors can encounter Arctic wolves, Arctic foxes and reindeer,

along with camels, wallabies, meerkats, tapirs and the ever-popular capybaras.

Madagascar is represented by playful ring-tailed and black-and-white ruffed lemurs, while the Tropical House contains crocodiles, snakes, tortoises and other reptiles.

Birdlife includes colourful peafowl and cockatiels, as well as emus and rheas.

The farm is also dedicated to protecting rare British breeds, with characterful pigs, sheep, cattle and chickens to discover.

Accessibility

We are a working farm so bear that in mind when preparing for your day. Bring your wellies if it’s wet to avoid the worst of any mud.

Due to being on agricultural land we are limited to what materials we use to make a path. As such, we have pathways made of gravel, some made of tar and chip and some with a recycled mix.

Pathways are made of rammed earth with uneven surfaces in Woodland Adventures. Wheelchairs and pushchairs can access the woodland as we have a sloped access however a larger special needs buggy may not fit on the paths like wheelchairs and pushchairs can.

All terrain mobility scooter (available on request, please email enquiries@jimmysfarm.com to book in advance – we only have two so they do get booked up)
