What better time of the year to be back at ours & yours favourite, The Rex, for some early Christmas celebrations!

 

 

A very warm welcome awaits you at the Hotel Rex, which offers the comforts and luxuries of a modern hotel yet still retains its original character and splendour.

The hotel was originally built for the Duke of Clarence as his summer residence when King George III held the Royal Court in Weymouth. The 3-star Hotel Rex is situated on the Esplanade overlooking the stunning golden sands of Weymouth Beach and the Jurassic Coastline beyond.

 

The 17th Century Harbour, with its busy fishing fleet, is always a hive of activity and just a few yards away and the town centre with its variety of shops, cafes and amenities is just a few moments walk away.

 

Hotel facilities include a residents’ lounge, fully licensed bar, à la carte restaurant, wireless internet access and a passenger lift that serves all floors.

We hope that we will not have to make any change to your holiday but, because our holidays are planned many months in advance, we sometimes do need to make minor changes. We reserve the right to do this at any time.

 

 

Requests for particular seats on the coach can be made when booking and we will do our best to accommodate these requests, but allocations are made on a first come first served basis, dependent upon customer mobility. We reserve the right to change your seat and allocate you a different one for operational reasons. On single bookings, we reserve the right to alter your seating to maximize the seating available. We accept no liability in the event of any such change.

The Hotel Rex

The hotel is on a flat area of the Esplanade opposite Weymouth beach but there are steps from the Esplanade to the hotel. There is a lift that serves all floors. Full accessibility information can be found on the Useful Information tab.

 

The 3-star Hotel Rex facilities include a residents’ lounge, fully licensed bar, à la carte restaurant and wireless internet access.

 

Holidays Departures

 

Timetable and door to door services

• Our timetables are unique. Bookings are taken throughout the year, approx. 90 days prior to travel we release the balance reminders your final itinerary, including your pickup times will arrive around six weeks before departure. This allows us to ensure our pickup routes are kept to a minimum and our routes run to time.

• Your itinerary will be sent by email wherever we have an email address or otherwise through the post. Your courier will have luggage labels if these are required on the day of travel.

• Commonly pickups start between 7.45am and 9.00am we arrange for comfort stops and lunch stops along the route where necessary. For longer journeys we will arrange additional comfort breaks.

• Door to Door service can be requested for our holidays where you are unable to board one of our pickup points, we use local taxi services and only charge you what they charge us , please speak with the office.

• Please note, occasionally we use a feeder coach along our pickup routes to accommodate booking requests and keep our main coach pickup route to a minimum.

• We do not supply holiday insurance but highly recommend you purchase this for your peace of mind.

• If you have accessibility needs please speak with us at time of booking, we work closely with the hotels to ensure they are aware of any room requests you have made, on some occasion’s hotels are not able to accommodate all requests, so please do note these are not guaranteed.

• Our planned excursions dates may vary from the advertised itinerary pending booking arrangements.

• Many of our holidays have limited single rooms, these are sold on a first serve first come bases. Any single supplements or sole occupancy charges are set by the hotels.
