Explore the medieval walled city of Canterbury, there’s plenty to do including the Cathedral and museum visits.

Canterbury Cathedral, considered the most important cathedral in the Anglican faith worldwide, Canterbury Cathedral is the city’s biggest draw.

The central ‘Bell Harry Tower’ dates back to 1498 and the crypt to the 11th century.

Tours here tell stories of the structure, including the tale of the 1170 murder of Archbishop Thomas Becket.

Canterbury Roman Museum, built around the remains of a Roman town house discovered beneath the city, this museum showcases preserved mosaics and artefacts from Roman Britain. It offers a rare glimpse into life nearly 2,000 years ago.

Westgate Gardens & riverside relaxation, Westgate Gardens is ideal for a picnic or peaceful walk, with scenic views along the River Stour.

Nearby cafés and restaurants offer a great way to enjoy the atmosphere by the water.
