Canterbury Roman Museum offers a fascinating insight into life in Roman Britain. Explore Canterbury’s history around the remains of an original Roman Town House and Scheduled Ancient Monument. One of the UK’s only remaining in situ Roman pavement mosaics and a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

 

If you don't fancy the museum, spend the day exploring this ancient city, famous for its cathedral and medieval streets. Set in the hop fields of Kent, Canterbury is one of the most beautiful and historic cities in England.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requests for particular seats on the coach can be made when booking and we will do our best to accommodate these requests, but allocations are made on a first come first served basis, dependent upon customer mobility. We reserve the right to change your seat and allocate you a different one for operational reasons. On single bookings, we reserve the right to alter your seating to maximize the seating available. We accept no liability in the event of any such change.

Accessibility at Canterbury Roman Museum

• Access to Roman level is via a lift, then level access throughout.

• The museum is fully accessible for people with disabilities and we offer a range of activities including tactile tours and multi-sensory object investigation sessions for blind and partially sighted people.

Timetable

• Our timetables are unique. Bookings are taken throughout the year, approx. one month prior to travel we release the balance reminders and your final itinerary, including your pickup times. This allows us to ensure our pickup routes are kept to a minimum and our days run exactly to time.

• Commonly pickups start between 7.45am and 9.00am. We like to arrive at our destinations for approx. 11am.

• Commonly our departures from venues are between 4-5pm. Allowing us to return to our first drop off between 6-7pm.

• Please note, occasionally we use a feeder coach along our pickup routes to accommodate booking requests and keep our main coach pickup route to a minimum.
