For one sensational summer only, the gates to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory will open at the London Coliseum.

Multiple Olivier Award winner Michael Ball OBE (Les Misérables, Hairspray, Sweeney Todd) stars as the legendary Willy Wonka in a brand-new scrumptious production of Roald Dahl‘s magical and much-loved Charlie And The Chocolate Factory The Musical.

 

Join Charlie Bucket on the adventure of a lifetime as he steps through the factory gates into a spectacular world of chocolate rivers, Oompa-Loompas, extraordinary inventions and delicious surprises around every corner.

This new production is directed by Nikolai Foster (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde, The Sound Of Music), with set design by Leslie Travers, the production features a book by David Greig, music by Marc Shaiman, lyrics by Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman, alongside the iconic songs such as ‘Pure Imagination’ from the 1971 film.

 

Open the gates to a world of pure imagination for a strictly limited season at the London Coliseum from 4 June to 18 September 2027.

Accessibility

 

Step-Free Entry: Level access to the main foyer and stalls is available via a side entrance and ramp on St Martin’s Lane.

 

Customer Lifts: Lifts serve all main auditorium levels except the Upper Circle, providing access to bars, restaurants, and different seating tiers

 

Toilets: Unisex accessible toilets toilets on four out of five levels of the London Coliseum: lower ground level, stalls, dress circle and balcony.

Timetable

• Our timetables are unique, bookings are taken throughout the year, and we release the pickup times around a month before departure. This allows us to ensure our pickup routes are kept to a minimum and our days run to time.

• Arrival and departure times in our brochure and on our website are a guideline and will be confirmed on your final confirmation.

• On some trips we run Fast Track pickups, typically on coastal trips or those of some distance. This shortens the pickup times and gets you to the destination in good time.

• Terms and Conditions can be found on our website or copies supplied upon request.
