Start your Sunday at Columbia Road Flower Market for a lively street filled with flowers, plants, and independent shops, then head to Borough Market,
where youll find some of the citys best street food and artisan produce.
You may wish to book a visit to the Sky Gardens or Horizon 22 for great views of the city, more information on each can be found on the Useful Links page.
And close by you will find:
The Golden Hinde, a full-size reconstruction of Sir Francis Drakes Elizabethan galleon, the first English ship to circumnavigate the globe.
Today, she operates as a museum and living heritage space, welcoming visitors of all ages aboard to explore Britains maritime history.
Southwark Cathedral, began life as an Augustinian priory in 1106.
Rebuilt after a fire in 1212, it became the parish church of St Saviour after Henry VIII dissolved the monasteries.
As well a place of worship, and burial site of famous figures it also hosts a rotating series of displays by mudlarks and artists
who explore the history of the Thames through objects recovered from the foreshore.

Accessibility
COLUMBIA ROAD FLOWER MARKET
Does not have any benches as far as I can see, the only option for sitting seems to be in cafes. Road is level, with low curbs and some lowered curbs which appear to be suitable for wheelchair access.
BOROUGH MARKET
The Markets public spaces are laid out on a single ground-floor level, so have no lifts or stairs. However, a few of our restaurant buildings are multi-storey. There are also several different surfaces (including cobbles) with some areas harder to access than others.
There are fully-fitted accessible WCs in four locations during market trading hours, with no radar keys required
Borough Market is not far from the Sky Gardens, they no longer take Group Bookings but you are able to book individually, the link is in our Useful Link tab if you'd like to book.
Alternatively there is a new free viewing gallery called Horizon 22, again, the link is in the Useful Link tab.
