We hope that we will not have to make any change to your holiday but, because our holidays are planned many months in advance,

 we sometimes do need to make minor changes. We reserve the right to do this at any time.

 

 

Requests for particular seats on the coach can be made when booking and we will do our best to accommodate these requests, but allocations are made on a first come first served basis, dependent upon customer mobility. We reserve the right to change your seat and allocate you a different one for operational reasons. On single bookings, we reserve the right to alter your seating to maximize the seating available. We accept no liability in the event of any such change.

 

 

 

Potters Five Lakes

Accessibility

• Unfortunately Five Lakes is not quite as accessible as Hopton and we do not have any rooms with walk in showers.

• Our Deluxe Double rooms offer step in showers, however the step into the shower is around 10 inches tall - so quite a big step.

• Our Hotel accommodation is all situated on the first and second floor (no ground floor rooms) we do have lifts, but in the event of an emergency you must be able to manage the stairs or use of evacuation chairs.

• The Village accommodation is on two levels with no lifts to the upper level.

• The Swimming Pool is not accessible at this stage, guests have to be able to manage stairs to enter the pool area and also steps into the pool.

 

Accommodation

 

Every break include Premier Rooms as standard, and then with your choice of location. Enjoy peace and quiet in the Village rooms set in the grounds, just a short walk from the hotel, or choose the hotel rooms surrounding the central facilities. With a choice of twin and double accommodation available, all our rooms offer an en-suite bathroom, TV with Freeview channels, tea and coffee making facilities, a safe for your valuables, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, drinks cooler, essential toiletries and free Wi-Fi. We offer upgrades ranging from Premier Plus or Hotel Suites.

Single Accommodation

Currently the new Potters do not have any Single accommodation at Five Lakes, the accommodation is made up of Twins and Doubles in both Village and Hotel Accommodation. We may be able to assist with an enquiry for a Single but this will depend on availability and will carry a supplement of £100.00

Golf

Experienced Golfers can enjoy the 18 hole Lakes Golf Course which is one of the finest courses in Essex.  The tees and greens are meticulously maintained and present a challenge to experienced golfers. The course is designed by the European Tour legend Neil Coles with excellent short game practice facilities and onsite driving range, the scene is set for a perfect round to complement guests short break.

 

Spa

Potters are delighted to advise that Spa Packages are now available to book. The Spa at Five Lakes offers twelve treatment rooms, a bespoke relaxation area and a dedicated space to enjoy delicious lite bites and refreshments, an idyllic venue to relax and unwind. 

The Spa offers a range of treatments covering massages, facials, pedicures, manicures, wrap and alternative therapies.

Timetable and door to door services

 

• Our timetables are unique. Bookings are taken throughout the year, approx. 90 days prior to travel we release the balance reminders your final itinerary, including your pickup times will arrive around six weeks before departure. This allows us to ensure our pickup routes are kept to a minimum and our routes run to time.

• Your itinerary will be sent by email wherever we have an email address or otherwise through the post. Your courier will have luggage labels if these are required on the day of travel.

• Commonly pickups start between 7.45am and 9.00am we arrange for comfort stops and lunch stops along the route where necessary. For longer journeys we will arrange additional comfort breaks.

• Please note, occasionally we use a feeder coach along our pickup routes to accommodate booking requests and keep our main coach pickup route to a minimum.

• For Holidays we will also pick up in: Aylesbury Exchange Street - Jansel Square, Bedgrove – Aston Clinton

• We do not supply holiday insurance but highly recommend you purchase this for your peace of mind.

• If you have accessibility needs please speak with us at time of booking, we work closely with the hotels to ensure they are aware of any room requests you have made, on some occasion’s hotels are not able to accommodate all requests, so please do note these are not guaranteed.

• Our planned excursions dates may vary from the advertised itinerary pending booking arrangements.

• Many of our holidays have limited single rooms, these are sold on a first serve first come bases. Any single supplements or sole occupancy charges are set by the hotels.
