With over 400 memorials to see and 150 acres to explore, the Arboretum has something to offer groups of all interests and backgrounds.

 

Military and civilian memorials, peaceful woodlands, colourful gardens, riverside walks and fascinating wildlife are all waiting to be discovered.

 

Armed Forces Day is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets.

 

Includes a ride on the Land Train, featuring pre-recorded commentary and providing an ideal introduction to the Arboretum and its many stories.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requests for particular seats on the coach can be made when booking and we will do our best to accommodate these requests, but allocations are made on a first come first served basis, dependent upon customer mobility. We reserve the right to change your seat and allocate you a different one for operational reasons. On single bookings, we reserve the right to alter your seating to maximize the seating available. We accept no liability in the event of any such change.

Accessibility

• Toilet facilities include accessible toilets. They offer as much as they can in the shape of physical access however are limited because the building is a Victorian farmhouse.

• A lift is available for the main museum exhibition which is situated downstairs on the basement level.

• It is helpful if you can make any needs known to us before the trip so we can do our best to assist.

• Entrance is a short walk from the carpark with 4 steps along the path, however they do have an alternative path through the garden for wheelchair access. Once in the building they offer lifts to both upper and lower floors if required.

 

 

Day Trip Departures

 

Timetable

• Our timetables are unique. Bookings are taken throughout the year, approx. one month prior to travel we release the balance reminders and your final itinerary, including your pickup times. This allows us to ensure our pickup routes are kept to a minimum and our days run exactly to time.

• Commonly pickups start between 7.45am and 9.00am. We like to arrive at our destinations for approx. 11am.

• Commonly our departures from venues are between 4-5pm. Allowing us to return to our first drop off between 6-7pm.

• Please note, occasionally we use a feeder coach along our pickup routes to accommodate booking requests and keep our main coach pickup route to a minimum.
