Enjoy a Royal day out! Explore the magnificent State Rooms, exhibition in the Queens Gallery & the Royal Mews.
State Rooms are intended to dazzle and dazzle Buckingham Palace certainly does. It all begins with plush red and low level gilding and then you find yourself at the base of a white and gold staircase that seems to head upwards into infinity whilst branching off into ever more extravagant interiors. Buckingham Palace serves as both the office and London residence of His Majesty The King.
This tour includes entrance to the Palace to see the nineteen State Rooms which are furnished with many of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection, the gardens and The Royal Mews.
Requests for particular seats on the coach can be made when booking and we will do our best to accommodate these requests, but allocations are made on a first come first served basis, dependent upon customer mobility. We reserve the right to change your seat and allocate you a different one for operational reasons. On single bookings, we reserve the right to alter your seating to maximize the seating available. We accept no liability in the event of any such change.

Fully accessible, but step-free access, folding stools, manual wheelchairs and rollators must be pre-booked.
Visitors who require step-free access enter via a different entrance, at the front of the Palace. Once inside the Palace visitors who have used the access-route go the same way as other visitors and experience the Palace in the same way.
Can use your own wheelchair and mobility scooter provided they're compatible with the lifts inside Buckingham Palace. The lifts measure 148cm in depth by 94 cm in width with a weight limit of 500kg; and 160cm in depth by 94cm in width with a weight limit of 750kg. If you have a Class 3 vehicle you will be asked to set the speed limiter to 4mph.
There are six steps at the Ambassadors' Entrance, the main visitor entrance to the Palace, and 47 steps on the Grand Staircase leading up to the State Rooms. A permanent handrail is available on both sides of the Staircase.
There are 41 steps down on the Ministers' Staircase at the end of the tour - a permanent handrail is available on both sides of the Staircase.
There are ten steps from the West Terrace down into the garden. If you require step-free access you can enter at the front of the Palace, where a golf buggy is available for transportation to the lift facilities. At the end of the tour, if you require step-free access and wish to exit via the garden you can usually take the buggy from the front of the Palace around to the bottom of the West Terrace.
There is a half a mile walk out through the gardens. Alternatively, you can exit using the buggy via the front of the Palace. Most rooms in the Palace are carpeted and some have polished wooden floors. The temporary structures at the entrance and in the garden have decking floor. The garden path, a the end of the visit, is hard gravel. As an historic building, the floors may be uneven, and visitors should take care.
Seating is available in most rooms along the visitor route, on the West Terrace and in the garden.
Can use walking sticks or folding stools with seat attachments, but must have rubber stoppers.
There are ten steps down into the garden.
Accessible toilets are located at the start of the Access Route inside the Palace. Additional, accessible toilets are available at the end of the visit, in the garden.

Our timetables are unique. Bookings are taken throughout the year, approx. one month prior to travel we release the balance reminders and your final itinerary, including your pickup times. This allows us to ensure our pickup routes are kept to a minimum and our days run exactly to time.
Commonly pickups start between 7.45am and 9.00am. We like to arrive at our destinations for approx. 11am.
Commonly our departures from venues are between 4-5pm. Allowing us to return to our first drop off between 6-7pm.
Please note, occasionally we use a feeder coach along our pickup routes to accommodate booking requests and keep our main coach pickup route to a minimum.
