Located in Oxfords Grade II listed town hall, the Museum of Oxford is dedicated to telling the story of Oxford and its people.
The Ashmolean Musuem
Opened in 1683 and is Britains first museum and the worlds first university museum.
It holds a vast selection of treasures dating from 500,000 BC to the present day including Egyptian mummies
and the worlds greatest collection of Raphael drawings.
Bodleian Libraries
The largest academic library system in the UK.
Generations of famous scholars have studied in its reading rooms through the ages, amongst them monarchs,
Nobel Prize winners, British Prime Ministers and writers including Oscar Wilde, C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien.
