Food and Drink
Our onsite cafés offer a full range of drinks, snacks and food to suit every visitor.
The Sunderland Café (Hangar 1)
Tea, coffee and pastries are served all day (weekends and holidays only) . Sit under the magnificent Short Sunderland flying boat or take away to picnic outside.
Hendon Kitchen
Our new restaurant serves hot and cold food and drink in the unique setting of a 1931 heritage building from RAF Hendon.
Picnic Areas
Picnicking is welcomed on the grassed areas of our site. Why not borrow a parachute rug or an outdoor bean bag? An outdoor picnic area with seating can be found near the playground to the rear of Building 51, and an indoor area is located at the entrance to Aeronauts in Hangar 3.
Requests for particular seats on the coach can be made when booking and we will do our best to accommodate these requests, but allocations are made on a first come first served basis, dependent upon customer mobility. We reserve the right to change your seat and allocate you a different one for operational reasons. On single bookings, we reserve the right to alter your seating to maximize the seating available. We accept no liability in the event of any such change.

The Royal Air Force Museum London welcomes everyone and aims to ensure an enjoyable visit for all. If you need any assistance please do ask any member of staff (look for the red jackets!)
The Museum has a number of manual wheelchairs available free of charge. These are available on a first come first served basis.
Mobility scooters are welcome on site.
All our hangars have accessible toilets. All have baby changing facilities and in Hangar 2 you will find a Changing Places Toilet.
We have step-free access around our site. All of our hangars offer the following:
Wide aisles, enabling access for wheelchairs and pushchairs
Lifts to upper levels
Seating for breaks during your visit
Free Wi-Fi is available

Day Trip Departures
Timetable
Our timetables are unique. Bookings are taken throughout the year, approx. one month prior to travel we release the balance reminders and your final itinerary, including your pickup times. This allows us to ensure our pickup routes are kept to a minimum and our days run exactly to time.
Commonly pickups start between 7.45am and 9.00am. We like to arrive at our destinations for approx. 11am.
Commonly our departures from venues are between 4-5pm. Allowing us to return to our first drop off between 6-7pm.
Please note, occasionally we use a feeder coach along our pickup routes to accommodate booking requests and keep our main coach pickup route to a minimum.
