Two trips in one, the lovely Swiss Garden with its Regency & Victorian garden and the Shuttleworth collection of early 20th century aircraft, cars buses and more.

 

 

The Swiss Gardens

Walk through ornate ironwork gates into a delightful Regency and Victorian layered garden and discover a green and pleasant idyll. There’s even a pair of peacocks waiting to strut their stuff just for you!

 

As well as being home to resident peacocks, ducks and other wildlife, the garden contains many examples of beautifully carved animals and birds.

 

 

The Shuttleworth Collection

Walking through the six huge hangars at Shuttleworth, you'll see how aviation design developed from Edwardian times up until the 1950s. Don't miss the 1909 Blériot XI, which, along with all of our aircraft, is still airworthy. It's the world's oldest flying aeroplane and it regularly takes the sky at our air shows.'

 

From early 20th century aircraft, cars, buses and motorbikes to steam engines and farm machinery, it's all here for you to discover. Our workshop is always open too, so pop in to say hi and watch us restoring these treasures.

 

 

 

 

 

Requests for particular seats on the coach can be made when booking and we will do our best to accommodate these requests, but allocations are made on a first come first served basis, dependent upon customer mobility. We reserve the right to change your seat and allocate you a different one for operational reasons. On single bookings, we reserve the right to alter your seating to maximize the seating available. We accept no liability in the event of any such change.

Accessibility

• We have plenty of open space, flat areas and ramps in the hangars.

• Our large site has a central parking location, so there is always a bit of a walk to get to all our key attractions.

Swiss Garden

• The nine acre Swiss Garden has accessible paths throughout thanks to investment from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. 

• There are seats throughout the Garden. 

• There is a dedicated toilet block.

 

The Shuttleworth Collection

• The Collection hangars have ramps throughout as well a generous sprinkling of seating. 

• The hangar doors are kept open except in very inclement weather so it’s easy to get in and out. 

• There are toilets, including an accessible toilet, in a central block midway through the hangar

Timetable

• Our timetables are unique, bookings are taken throughout the year, and we release the pickup times around a month before departure. This allows us to ensure our pickup routes are kept to a minimum and our days run to time.

• Arrival and departure times in our brochure and on our website are a guideline and will be confirmed on your final confirmation.

• On some trips we run Fast Track pickups, typically on coastal trips or those of some distance. This shortens the pickup times and gets you to the destination in good time.

• Terms and Conditions can be found on our website or copies supplied upon request.
