A visit to the grounds of Welford park to view the swathes of snowdrops, followed by free time in Wallingford.

 

Welford Park maybe known to some as the home of the Great British Bake Off but come late wintertime, you will see one of the finest snowdrop collections in the UK. The dainty droplets of snowdrops thrive amongst the 5-acre beech wood, enchanting riverbanks of the River Lambourn and the glorious gardens at Welford Park.

 

After viewing the snowdrops we head to Wallingford, which is great for independent shops and antiques.  It is also the original location of Midsomer Murders Causton, home to Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby.

 

 

 

 

Requests for particular seats on the coach can be made when booking and we will do our best to accommodate these requests, but allocations are made on a first come first served basis, dependent upon customer mobility. We reserve the right to change your seat and allocate you a different one for operational reasons. On single bookings, we reserve the right to alter your seating to maximize the seating available. We accept no liability in the event of any such change.

Accessibility at Wellford Park

 

• We are committed to providing an accessible attraction, and we strive to ensure that visitors with disabilities can enjoy as much of our magnificent grounds as possible.

• Many of our paths are hardcore but we also have woodchipped paths due to the nature of the woodland, which are tough but not impossible for wheelchairs and prams to use.

• For Snowdrop visitors, there is one accessible route to the snowdrop wood, heated marquee and gift shop, please ask a member of staff for directions.  

• Accessible toilets are located opposite the heated marquee. We have baby changing facilities at the toilet block next to the giraffe statues by the side of the main house.

Timetable

• Our timetables are unique, bookings are taken throughout the year, and we release the pickup times around a month before departure. This allows us to ensure our pickup routes are kept to a minimum and our days run to time.

• Arrival and departure times in our brochure and on our website are a guideline and will be confirmed on your final confirmation.

• On some trips we run Fast Track pickups, typically on coastal trips or those of some distance. This shortens the pickup times and gets you to the destination in good time.
