Winchester is rich in history, from the 900-year-old Winchester Cathedral to the historic Great Hall.

The city also offers a wide range of museums to explore and plenty of cafés and restaurants where you can relax and recharge your batteries.

Home of good food and the country's largest farmers' market, birthplace of the modern game of cricket, resting place of author Jane Austen

and inspiration to the many craft-makers and artists who live here, Winchester is truly a destination for all seasons.

The Great Hall, one of the finest surviving aisled halls of the 13th century, contains the greatest symbol of medieval mythology,

King Arthurs Round Table, and is all that now remains of Winchester Castle.

Winchester Cathedral offers a unique heritage of the life of the English nation; its stones tell the stories of Kings and Queens, statesmen and politicians.

But here too you can find the loving labour and imprint of monks and pilgrims, writers and artists and working men and women.

Timetable

  • Our timetables are unique, bookings are taken throughout the year, and we release the pickup times around a month before departure. This allows us to ensure our pickup routes are kept to a minimum and our days run to time.

  • Arrival and departure times in our brochure and on our website are a guideline and will be confirmed on your final confirmation.

  • On some trips we run Fast Track pickups, typically on coastal trips or those of some distance. This shortens the pickup times and gets you to the destination in good time.
